Christian sympathy and prayers for:

The family and friends of Rev. Gerald Discher (Emeritus, Navasota) who 
passed into heaven yesterday, May 17 at 3:00 p.m. after a short 
hospitalization with pneumonia.  Pastor Discher was 80 years old and 
disabled with Parkinson's disease.  He is survived by his wife of 49 
years, Betty, and their three children.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21 at Trinity 
Lutheran Church, Navasota.   His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on 
Saturday, May 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1530 E. Washington, 
Navasota.  Pastors are invited to vest and bring red stoles.
