Christian sympathy and prayers for:

The family and friends of Rev. Dr. Michael Stelmachowicz (Emeritus) who 
was called home to heaven on December 30, 2009.  Visitation will be from 
6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Cook-Walden/Capital 
Parks Funeral Home. His funeral Service will be at 9:30 a.m. on 
Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3501 Red River 
in Austin, with Rev. Mark Nuckols and Rev. Nilo Figur officiating. 
Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Family and friends of Josh Sands, nephew of Rev. Darrell Howanitz (Our 
Redeemer, Longview), who was murdered on New Years Day in Florida.

In our prayers:

Dan Ebert, son of Rev. and Mrs. David Ebert (Emeritus, Fredericksburg) 
undergoing outpatient chemotherapy and radiation to shrink a tumor in 
his left leg.

Rev. James Linderman (Emeritus, Austin) who has responded well to the 
chemo treatment for lung cancer and continues to be treated for fluid in 
his right lung and shortness of breath. He and Jean thank everyone for 
their prayers.
