In our prayers:

Mr. David Glienke (Principal, Pilgrim, Houston) hospitalized at St. 
Luke, Houston after having a light stroke on Thursday, September 24.  
Thank you for your prayers for healing for Dave and for all the medical 
team members that are attending to him at this time.

Katie Jarrett wife of Deacon James C. Jarrett (Water of Life, Forney) 
having kidney surgery on Monday, September 28. Please pray for a smooth 
and successful surgery, a speedy recovery, and grace for James and the 
children while Katie is "convalescing."

Rev. Bill Lowery, Jr. (Holy Cross, Arlington) recovering at home after 
successful neck surgery on Monday.  Pray that God would give Bill 
complete healing, eliminating all pain and any need for future treatment.

Pastors Wives Retreat this weekend at Camp Lone Star.

Creating a Missional Greenhouse Workshop being held this Saturday, 
September 26 with Will Mancini at St. John, Cypress.

Congratulations to:

Rev. Wayne and Linda Braun (Lamb of God, Flower Mound) who welcomed 
their first grandchild into the world on September 23!  Kyah was born to 
Ben and Anna, and is 8 pounds 11ounces and 20 inches long.

Dr. and Mrs. Lou Jander upon the birth of their 9th grandchild, Vesper 
Noelle, born Friday, September 18, at 3:09 pm. to their daughter and 
son-in-law, Dinah and Christian Dobrowski. Vesper was born about 3 1/2 
weeks early and has been having some issues in breathing. She joins her 
3 year-old sister, Amehra.
