Christian sympathy and prayers for:

The family and friends of Rev. Ed Rehwaldt, who died and passed into 
eternal joy with his Savior, Jesus on Saturday, October 31, 2009. His 
wife of 64 years, Freida, was with him at McAllen Medical Center, as was 
his daughter, Carolyn Shaver, who is a Middle School Commissioned 
Minister at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School.

The Visitation is set for Thursday, November 5th, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 
p.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, 703 Oak St., Brainerd, 
Minnesota. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 
November 6th, 2009, at Mission of the Cross Lutheran Church, 13716 Co Rd 
103, Crosslake, Minnesota.

In Minnesota, many will give thanks for his 64 years of faithful 
ministry, and in McAllen, we are profoundly appreciative of his 14 
active years as a "Winter Pastor" in Mission, Texas, where he lived and 
ministered actively in "retirement."

After the forthcoming services in Minnesota, Mrs. Rehwaldt plans to 
return to her home in Mission and her home state of Texas.
