OUR CHRISTIAN LOVE AND SYMPATHY TO...

The family and friends of Rev. Everett Grese, father-in-law of Mr. Bill 
Hinz (District, Director of School Ministry) who went home to heaven on 
May 12.  The funeral service will be held in Peoria, Illinois.  Pastor 
Grese served God in congregations in Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois 
and served the Lord in the Mid-South District and in Synod.

heart surgery.

Mark Blumhorst, son of Harriet Blumhorst Graf home from the hospital

Amarillo) recovering after successful surgery in Kansas City.

With the planned retirement of Rev. Gary Pohl on December 31, 2009, the 
Lutheran Foundation of Texas seeks to fill the position of Chief 
Executive Officer (CEO). This LCMS servant leader works with a 
nine-member Board of Directors and is accountable for growing and 
developing all aspects of the ministry of LFOT including planned giving, 
trust administration, investments, donor relations and staff
