TEXAS DISTRICT - LCMS Convention Update - Thursday, June 25, 2009
Intercontinental Hotel - Addison, TX

The highlight of the opening day of the Convention was the uplifting and 
motivational worship service. Rev. Ken Hennings, President of the Texas 
District, delivered an inspiring word from Galatians 1:13-17 entitled 
Made Useful.
A mass choir, made up of members of area churches, and the praise 
ensemble from Prince of Peace, Carrollton, added to the spiritual 
dimension of the worship service.
