Christian sympathy and prayers for:

The family and friends of Mrs. Nadene Fickenscher, mother of Rev. 
Michael Fickenscher (St. Paul, Mohanas, Zion Kermit) who passed into 
heaven last week.  Her funeral was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 
Midland.

The family and friends of Rev. Elmer E. Klenk who passed into heaven on 
November 23, 2009.  He was nearly 95 and continued his witness to the 
love of Jesus to the end and now praises and sings to the Lord.

Inactive Ordained Annual Reporting Forms were emailed or US Mailed this 
week.  Be reminded that they need to be completed and returned by

 From The Treasurer's Office

Changing on 1/1/2010, IRS has decreased the standard business mileage 
rate to 50¢ per mile (from 55¢ in effect since 1/1/09). The standard 
medical and moving mileage rate has likewise decreased to 16.5¢ per mile 
(from 24¢). These new rates apply to mileage reimbursements paid to an 
employee on or after January 1, 2010 with respect to transportation 
expenses paid or incurred by the employee on or after January 1, 2010.
