The family and friends of Viola Bruns, mother-in-law of Rev. Duane 
(Rosemary) Jalas (Trinity,Dime Box) who passed into heaven August 15 in 
Seward, NE.  Her funeral was held at St. John's in Seward on Wednesday.

Mark Blumhorst, son of Harriet Blumhorst Graf, recovering with 
uncomfortable, but normal, side-effects from last week's bone marrow 
transplant.

Rev. Wayne and Anita Schardt (Em., The Woodlands) as she is now at home 
under hospice care from pancreatic cancer.

A Special one day event in Area D - Saturday, September 26!!!

The featured speaker is Will Mancini, author of Church Unique.  He will 
share some very practical ideas on just how we can be uniquely 
missional.  In addition you will hear about being culturally missional 
(reaching across all the various cultural lines).

There is no charge for this event...that includes speakers, material, 
breaks/refreshments, and the noon lunch.  Each person attending will 
need to register so that we do have an idea on the number attending.
