OUR CHRISTIAN LOVE AND SYMPATHY TO...

The family and friends of Rev. Chuck Born (emeritus) who died Friday 
morning, January 11. Visitation will be at Beck Funeral Home (15709 N. 
FM 620) Monday, January 14, 6-8:00 p.m. His funeral will be held on 
Tuesday, January 15, 2:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church (6414 N. Hampton) 
Austin.

The family and friends of Steven Erickson, 43 year old son of Bob and 
Marlys Erickson (Texas District Treasurer). When he did not show up at 
work, co-workers found him in his apartment. The autopsy indicates 
Steven died between 11:00-12:00 Sunday evening of heart failure. A 
memorial service will be held Friday, January 18 at Faith Lutheran 
Church, Georgetown, TX at 4:00 pm. Memorials may be sent to the Forward 
in Faith facility expansion at Faith Lutheran Church, 4010 Williams 
Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628.

Ann, wife of Rev. Walt Dube, (Pilgrim, Houston) receiving treatments for 
cancer.

Ann Edge, mother of Rev. Jim Edge (Immanuel, Mercedes) hospitalized at 
Baylor Hospital, Irving, admitted with pneunomia and has since suffered 
a heart attack

Rev. Matt Jacobs (Grace, Brenham) undergoing hip replacement surgery on 
Monday, January 14 in Bryan, TX

Rev. David Jeske (Grace, Mart) recovering from a stroke.

Rev. Roy Kieschnick very weak and recovering at Triumph Hospital in 
Tomball, TX

Becky Krentz (DCE, Faith, Georgetown), wife of Paul (MMF, TX District), 
recovering from a broken right foot and surgery repairing her left 
broken ankle. Both were the result of a fall.

CONGRATULATIONS TO...

Rev. Mark and Connie Barz (Crown of Life, San Antonio) upon the birth of 
a granddaughter, Addison Noelle Beatón on Tuesday, 1 January to their 
daughter Liesl and her husband 2nd Lt Jose Beatón, USMC. Addison was the 
first baby born there in 2008…for that she received a Navy blanket!
