GREG KNIPPA (PRINCE OF PEACE, BELTON) who will have surgery on Thursday, 
Sept. 27 for a bronchoscopy (inside his right lung) and a biopsy of a 
2.5 cm mass on the outside of his right lung.

BETTY AND WILBERN MICHALK (EMERITUS) for Betty who was scheduled to have 
surgery today, Sept. 21, at M.D. Anderson Hospital for the removal of a 
kidney with a tumor.

BILL AND WANDA BRUMMETT (ST. PETER, BOWIE) for Bill whose cancer in his 
brain has returned and is spreading.

KEN AND VAL HENNINGS on the birth of their second grandchild, Matthew 
Dietrich Otten, on Wednesday September 19 in Fort Worth to Kim and Eric 
Otten.

DR. VERN AND KAREN FITCH (ADJUNCT PROFESSOR AT CONCORDIA AND VACANCY 
PASTOR, TRINITY, DIME BOX) who have become great grandparents. Matthew 
Loren III was born to their Grandson Matt II and wife Vicki, July 20 in 
Kansas City, MO.

COREY AND MELANIE MOSS (COREY, ST. PAUL, THORNDALE) on the birth of the 
second child, a baby girl born Wednesday, September 19th.

LUTHERAN HYMN FESTIVAL IN DALLAS
 
A great opportunity to participate with sisters and brothers who enjoy 
the great music of the church in the 7th Annual Lutheran Hymn Festival 
on Sunday, September 23 at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
 
Mr. Robert Hobby, a nationally recognized composer, conductor, church 
organist and clinician will serve as guest organist for the festival.

Mr. Sam Eatherton, Minister of Music at Zion, Dallas, will direct the 
mass choir.

The Children's Choir of Greater Dallas will also be a part of the event.
