OUR CHRISTIAN LOVE AND SYMPATHY TO...

THE FAMILIES OF AL PALUCH (Teacher, Pilgrim, Houston) AND MARTIN PALUCH 
(Director of Operations, Salem, Tomball) on the sudden death of their 
brother, Michael Paluch, on Sunday, February 11th.

THE FAMILIES OF DON OLSON, JR. (St. Paul's Aleman, Hamilton) AND JOSHUA 
HOWER (Concordia, San Antonio). Don Olson, Sr. died on Tuesday, February 
13th. He was father to Pastor Olson and grandfather to Pastor Hower. 
Memorial service was held today at St. John, Ellisville, MO.

THE FAMILY OF MARK BEHRING (Emeritus, TX) and his wife, Sarah, on the 
loss of Sarah's mother, Ida Rother, who died on January 28th in 
Charlotte, NC. Services will be held on March 20th at Resurrection, 
Franklin, NC.

THE FAMILY OF WILLETTA MAHNKE (widow of Pastor Edward John Mahnke). Mrs. 
Mahnke passed away Tuesday morning at her son's home in Slidell, LA. She 
was preceded in death by her husband in August 2002. A worship service 
was held February 16th at St. Matthew, Houston.

recovery from hip replacement surgery on February 13th.

A Summer Camp for Prospective Deaconess Students, June 17 - 23, 2007

Is someone in your ministry considering the vocation of deaconess? 
Deaconesses are women who work with the pastor or pastoral care team in 
congregations, agencies, and missions, serving the church through 
ministry to women, children, the elderly, the sick, or those in need.

What to expect:
- Experience daily spiritual fellowship.
- Attend classes led by Deaconesses and Theology professors.
- Visit and/or work with Deaconesses in the area.
- Make friends and have a week of group building and fun activities.
