CURRENT ISSUE…
The Golden Compass
The movie "The Golden Compass" is opening in theaters across the country
by December 7 if it hasn't already appeared in your town. This
controversial movie is based on books written by atheist, Phillip Pullman.
Rev. Dr. Joel Heck, Professor of Religion at Concordia University,
Austin has written an insightful commentary on this movie. Please go to
the www.lcms.org and click on the Golden Compass link.
You may want to direct your members (if you are a pastor) or your
parents (if you are an educator) to this site for insight and guidance.
