OUR CHRISTIAN LOVE AND SYMPATHY TO . . .
MARCUS AND MARGARET MUELLER (St. John, San Benito) on the death of
Margaret's father, Henry Schmidt, on June 7 in San Benito. The funeral will
be Monday, June 12, at 2 p.m. at Abiding Love in Austin, the church where
Henry and Margaret's mother were charter members. A family visitation
precedes the service at 1 p.m.
We continue to remember in our prayers REV. CHARLES BORN and his family on
the death of his wife, Jean. The funeral service was today (Friday) at
Hope, Austin.

DON AND PHYLLIS NEUMANN (Our Redeemer, Harlingen) as Don recovers from
shoulder replacement surgery. He is at home and undergoing rehab at this
time.

attention to the development of a new hymnal and agenda for congregations
and institutions of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Now, in cooperation with Concordia Publishing House, the Commission is
pleased to present this new resource for use at the dawn of a new century.
Through the study and research of numerous committees and the testing and
responses of hundreds of pastors, musicians, and congregations, Lutheran
Service Book is uniquely poised to serve congregations of the Synod.
