OUR CHRISTIAN LOVE AND SYMPATHY TO . . .

THE FAMILY OF GEORGE W. PRICE (Emeritus, Brownsville) who died on July 7 at
the age of 94.   Pastor Price served many years at Trinity, Brownsville, and
also served as Vacancy Pastor at Fishers of Men in Port Isabel.  He
continued to teach Bible class at Trinity until Easter of this year.  The
funeral will be next Thursday, July 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity in
Brownsville (901 Boca Chica Blvd. - 956/542-7024).

THE FAMILY OF DORA BEHNKEN of Florida who died on July 4.  Mrs. Behnken was
the widow of  Dr. L. Lloyd Behnken who served as President of the
Florida-Georgia District from 1974-1987. A graveside service was held in
Oviedo, Florida, this morning (July 7) and a memorial service followed at 3
p.m. at St. John's in Ocala, FL.

DAVID ANGERMAN (Minister of Music, Bethany, Austin) and ASHLEY ANGERMAN (DCE
Intern, Immanuel, Giddings) on the death of David's niece and Ashley's
sister in a car accident in Florida last week.

IN OUR PRAYERS . . .

PRESIDENT JIM KEURULAINEN (New England District President) who was
hospitalized over the holiday weekend with what doctors first thought was an
aneurysm in the brain.  Tests proved that incorrect and he is now
recuperating at home.

CAROLE AND DAVID BYLER (Trinity, Brownsville) as Carole continues her fight
against cancer.  She was hospitalized recently but returned home today.

Carole and David also rejoice in the news that doctors now say that their
son Matthew's leukemia is in remission.  No match was found for a bone
marrow transplant and doctors said a remission would be very difficult if
the leukemia was found to have a genetic factor, which it has.  As David
says, "We are looking at a miracle."  Please continue to keep the Byler
family in your prayers.

And, keep RHODA AND JIM HOUSE (Teacher, Our Redeemer, Dallas, and Jim,
Principal, Zion, Dallas) and their family in your prayers. Rhoda was
recently  diagnosed with breast cancer with additional complications.

CONGRATULATIONS TO . . .

FRIEDA AND JOHN ZACHO (Trinity, San Angelo happily welcomed the birth of
their fourth grandchild, Blake Henry, on July 4th.  Blake is the son of
their daughter, Amy, and her husband, Mark Anderson, who are members at
Gloria Dei, Houston.   Mark,  one of NASA's engineers, was scheduled to be a
part of monitoring the 1:38 PM Discovery launch on Tuesday, but Blake pulled
rank at 2:21 PM.  Mark had to watch the Discovery launch from Texas Women's
Hospital in Houston.   Mom and baby are doing fine.
