Don't Miss Lutheran Hour Ministries' (LHM's) Float in the 2007
Tournament of Roses Parade
The theme for the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade is "Our Good Nature,"
and the theme for LHM's float is "God's Great Nature." Decorated by LHM
volunteers called Petal Pushers®, the float reminds us of God's servant
nature because of the beautiful trees, water, and creatures He created
for us to enjoy. It also reminds us of the greatest demonstration of His
nature, the gift of His son, Jesus Christ.
The Lutheran Hour® float, hosted by the Southern California District of
the International Lutheran Laymen's League, is once again the only
religious float in the parade. ** The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
President Gerald Kieschnick and his wife, Terry, will ride on the float.**
You can watch the parade on Jan. 1, 2007 without commercial interruption
on cable's Home and Garden Television (HGTV) channel or tune in to ABC
around 9:50 a.m. Pacific time to hopefully see the LHM float. Check your
local listings for time and channel.
Vote for 'The Lutheran Hour' Float on HGTV's Web Site!
LHM's float is one of five featured on HGTV's Web site. Click here

A recent estimate tells us that there are over 2.8 million deaf people
in the United States – and only 2% of them know about Jesus. The Deaf
Lutheran Mission Society wants to share the story of Jesus Christ with
those deaf people who don’t know Him. Would you like to receive stories
& updates from the Deaf Lutheran Mission Society? If you do, please send
your name, address & email address to Deaf_Jesus at yahoo.com or to Deaf
Lutheran Missions, P.O. Box 1795, Janesville, WI 53547.
